should i have a on/off switch for alk/water injection?

for my alk/water injection kit should i buy a on/off switch for the setup? or is it okay to just have it on all the time?? would that hurt anything?? what is the best for a LT1 with a s-trim blower- all water or a meth/water setup?

Are you pushing the envelope enough to where you need alcohol/water injection?

You aren't at the stock compression with that S-trim, huh?

Stock bottom end? 10.5:1?
If so, you'll definetly want to consider alcohol injection to help keep detonation to a minimum and/or possibly even run a couple gallons of race gas.

stock bottom end for now- i rarely ever drive the car and never take it to the track. so the motor will hold up for along time.

Yeah, I'd definetly consider water/alcohol injection with the compression that high.

Not a good idea, especially at 8 psi.

not sure what my compression is.. but the car is just a toy. i have fun just letting it sit covered up safe in my garage. so when its time for a rebuild oh well its time then. things don't last for ever.

Well, assuming the combustion chambers weren't opened up extensively during porting and the head gaskets remained stock height, you're at about 10.5:1, which is extremely high for a forced induction motor.

That's just a replacement gasket for the LT1, which means that it remains at stock compression. You should have discussed this with a professional LT1 engine builder before you tried to stick 8psi through a stock-internal LT1 with stock compression.

Good luck
