i have a '98 camaro with the anti-theft security system. is there any way for me to open my door with just the key, without making the alarm go off. i don't want to use the remote every time to unlock.

i've looked through the manual and it looks like my only option is to have an 8 second delay after i open the door with my key (instead of the remote). i don't like carrying the remote with me because i only have one set of keys at the moment.
