My security light is driving me crazy, it turned on a while back and hasnt went off since. The car runns normal and starts normal but that damn light just wont go away!! I just bought a new key for my car, the key worked but they light is still on. can anybody help me out here?

that the male/female connection of the "purple" wire is tight.

You can check shoebox's site for details, but that was my problem.

It is located under that lower dash panel right by the steering column.

I know seeing that security light on the dash almost drove me insane.

 

same problem here, i have a code scanner though, OBDII, i hooked it up scanned the computer, and it came up with a tranny code, i cleared it and the security light went away. go to autozone, have them scan it, and see if thats your issue.
