Security light on

Hi, I have a 1998 SS and the Security light in the dash just came on. The SS runs fine but I would like to fix the light being on. Any suggustions?

The car isn't recognizing the resistance value of the key pelet. First thing I'd try is another key, or cleaning the one you're using. Search the site for VATS.
