SBC into LT1 body

I need to know if i can use the HEI, it looks like it will fit after trimming the cowl.

Also, can i make the stock serp system work with it and make the WP work with different size belt and routing? If not, can a third gen system work and make the AC still usable?

OK, i found the HEI will fit. Now, a friend told me about a pulley that will go on the aternator for a separate belt to go to the water pump, anyone heard of this?

Sounds like your talking about a V-belt system, which uses 2 or 3 different belts instead of a serpentine using just one.

Either will work, depending on funds you could buy one of those March serpentine setups.

I want to use the stock serpentine system. I think my answer is to use a electric water pump, problem solved prolly.
