Removing catback in one piece on a 4th gen...
HOw could I do it?
Not sure I can "unhook" the muffler from i-pipe with ease. Any ideas of how I coudl pull the catback from the car without cutting it. Is it possible?
Worst case scenario... disconnect shocks, panhard, rear sway, and lift the car, should drop the rear, or will the LCAs, keep me from dropping it far enough to get it off?

lift the car in the air, letting the axle drop...you probably would have enough clearance to work it out.
you may have to turn the muffler vertical...or near....

I bought a TA stock system years ago from a guy who did that, he said he had to take apart the right rear suspention/shock to get it out in one piece.
What did you buy eric
When I took mine off I just cut it up into 3 or 4 parts but if I wanted to remove it and keep it semi re-useable I'd probibly lift the car high and cut it right before it enters the muffiler and try to keep the I pipe in one piece, that way I'd only have to buy a new clamp or something to reconnect that one cut.

Pfft... you know I don't buy ****...
Just coming up on a roadrace... I autocross with my stock catback on. I am legal to run an open pipe after the CAT, same way I do when I drag race I am considering running that way for the roadrace because I likely won;t have many low RPM accelerations, so I don't need as much help downlow as I do up top. Since I gain roughly 4/10ths in the 1/4 figure it might be helpful since biggest advantage my car has in my class is HP. Might as well maximize it.
But when I unhook it, its a bangs around a little, nothing bad for street and drag racing but gettin on it in the corners really hard I get a little worried.
I am one to be rather do a little extra work then spend the money
