Has anyone tried to refinish their steering wheel?
Mine has some sun fade (dried out) on top due to the fl. sun baking it.

 

Year, model of vehicle? Leather wrapped or plastic wheel?

I have a 2002 w/worn-out leather rim. Curious if folks who put new leather on their wheels:

1. Removed the old leather or not.

2. Used the wrap-around type of replacement or the ring-type that you stretch over the wheel and stitch up.
