Re: Rear Sway bar question

what freakin IROC came with a 34mm REAR bar???

i've heard the rear bars are interchangeable since it is basically the same suspension setup.

the front however is totatlly different...won't work

Even if it does fit, I don't think you would want to run such a huge rear bar. You're going to get some crazy oversteer.

Re: Rear Sway bar question

i'm pretty sure it will fit no problem.

buy some poly end links and bushings and you'll be all set.

however not having an upgraded front piece will probably negatively affect your handling as stated above.

Re: Rear Sway bar question

I've got 1LE shocks/springs/front swaybar/19mm rear swaybar. All ES bushings front/back. SFCs/APHR/STB/LCAs and a Spohn TQ still I am not happy with the rear of the car rolling a bit too much for my taste. It doesn't break loose but I would like a bit more tightness in the rear, also running 11in rear wheels with 315s.

I originally was looking for a 21mm bar but they are kinda scarce or very $$$$!!

Open to suggestions, thanks all!!

Re: Rear Sway bar question

does suspension techniques make a 35mm solid front bar for the 3rd gens?

that combined with a 24mm rear should REALLY flatten the car out.

either that or some better shocks...bilstein HDs or something like that

3rd gens stock came with some big bars
i think 32/21 was base
so 35 wouldnt really make THAT big of a difference, although it'd definately help
