Question Re Installing A/C Components

ive been running my car with my ac deleted and cant take the texas heat any more. i want to reinstall everything that i removed which were only the compressor, ac lines and dryer, and condensor. the thing was i didnt cap off the evaporator ports going to the inside of the car i read that if moisture gets in the evaporator its ruined. is this true or is there any way i can get the moisture out if there is any.. what do i need to do to get my A/C running again?

most shops put a vacuum in it to remove moisture, just have it charged first time @ a shop with a nice machine

replace the dryer, reinstall everything else, and go have it vacummed and recharged
