Rattling Noise, goes away when you push cluth in, HELP
I just bought my nice 96 Jet Black Camaro, 3.8 V6, 5 Speed, I notice when its in neutral and the parking brake is on theres a rattle that comes and goes, but if i push the cluth in, it goes away, what could this be? I`m new to camaro`s but so far i love her.

agreed 99.9% of the time that's what it is.
i've had it slightly on my 96 and my 99. i've been told it isn't anything to get really worked up over unless it gets really bad.

you can do i yourself fairly simple clutck package start at about 320.00 and up i would put in a new piolt bearing and have the fly wheel re surfaced its worth the extra money

I agree, if it isnt very loud I wouldnt worry about it, my Z has been doing it for over 3 years now.

Yea, it isn't that big of a deal untill it gets real loud, to replace it you would need to drop the transmission, i'm not sure about the v6/5 speed but i did a clutch job on a lt1/m6 by myself in 2 days.
