ram air ta
looking at 2000 black ram air ta tomorrow,auto, ws6(what gears are in it?),1 owner 107,000 miles.guy wants 10,995 for it. no mods, all stock.of course I wouldnt put down a dime till my mechanic went thru it. besides the obvious how bout some advice on what to check. I have a 93z so I know to check windows,antenna, headlights. also reg. pads, rotors, tires ,exhaust, go thru the gears( auto) make sure they all hit right when they should.stereo I know that monsoon screws up alot. what do you think about price? alot of potential here, lid, catback program, tires,stall, 12s easy.should I listen for piston slap, have my mechanic do a compression test.any advice appreciated. dont know alot about ls1s, just that they run like a bat out of hell hehe thanks

They come with 3.42 gears stock I believe.
Yeah the Monsoon sucks, my LCD barely works and the subwoofers are blown.
The headlight motors are another issue, make sure they work properly. Any grinding noises would be an indication of problems.
I just rolled over 100k in my car and it runs like a champ.
It's not a huge issue, but check the seat controls too, my lumbar support/constraints don't work anymore, they went out shorty after I got the car.
You'll get guys on here telling you that 11k is too much for a 100K mile car, but that's what WS6s seem to be going for. Best of luck.
