If you crank up and shut off and open the door, the radio is supposed to shut off. It doesn't with the driver door. You have to do the passenger door. Where is the sensor and is it easy to replace or fix. I'm sure it's simple, but I thought I'd save myself some time.

 

does the dome light operate with the drivers door?

 

There's a switch is the door jam; it's probably stuck closed.
