I don't have a f-body but you guys should be able to help me.
My radiator is 23" across and 18" high. I have 2 14" fans I want to put on it. They don't quite fit so I was thinking on putting one on the inside right and the other one on the outside left. Would that work? Another way would be to just let them stick out the sides a bit.

 

that should work..if you have one pushing and one pulling..

SBC in a 914 sounds like fun...was it cheaper then building a type 4 turbo engine?...are you using a G50 trans axle ? I would like to see some pics..that would be cool

I am using the stock 901 tranny. so far so good. Price really depends on which motor you wana shove in there, kits are about a grand for pretty much any motor you can think of. The hard work is making it fit.
