Racetronix experience

I have been receiving poor customer service from Racetronix on a problem with their in-tank fuel pump kit (pump would not fit in the bucket nozzle, gave me all sorts of excuses why it should work without taking the time to read and see pics of the issue).

The case: the pump suction would not fit in the bucket nozzle (1995 T/A). The difference was approx. 0.1mm. Racetronix assumed I was not following directions. I sent them pics. They insisted no mods were necessary to the bucket nozzle. They offered to install the pump in the bucket if I sent them the parts (bucket, pump). I agreed but I had to wait to get their return documents (which never came). While I waited, I decided to sand down (with a socket and 320grit sandpaper taped to the socket) the nozzle. After a few tries, the pump suction fit the nozzle. The sanding did not affect the integrity of the nozzle (no cracks, plenty of plastic left). I sent them my solution and they responded that what I did was not recommended and would damage the nozzle. (Again assuming without actually looking at the final product).

Is this an isolated case or has anyone had similar problems with Racetronix?

Re: Racetronix experience

Not isolated. I found them to be a bunch of arrogant jerks.
I would only purchase from someone who carries their products, not them directly. Those vendors actually care about their customers.
