Re: quick scanmaster question?

I'm pretty sure they still say SCANMASTER LT1 on them. The new ones on E-bay do anyways. As does my older one.

Re: quick scanmaster question?

Scanmasters for LT-1 say "LT-1" on the display plate. There is a chance you were accidentally sent the wrong version.

Regardless of who you bought it from, send it to us with a note reminding us of the situation and your shipping info we will send you the right one right away.

Full Throttle, that is a great thing to do. I'll have to do business with you guys, just from the sounds of that.

The Scanmaster LT1 is only 3 wires as well. This is because there were two different connectors for LT1 f-bodies, depending on year. If you have the instructions handy, you can read how it is a simple 3-wire hookup. If you don't, you can download them from our message board here:

Our shipping address is:
Full Throttle Speed
17342 Brill
Clinton Township, MI

Glad we can help.

Re: quick scanmaster question?

The "original" Scanmaster LT1 (1997?) had 4 wires... with a "future use" promised for the green wire. Eventually, they just deleted the green wire.

For an alternative way of installing it, and a bit of background that never seemed to make it to the Scanmaster manual, read this:
