was at the 7-11 and this kid had a Camaro the same as my color mustang, he got out and said nice car..said to him the same thing..it had flowmaster dual exhust but was a V6 and he said it was an RS..but it didnt have any of the RS stuff on it..it looked like a base Camaro
so "?" is..

RS
Z28
SS
right and only way an RS can be an RS is with the package..and a base Camaro was a base?? just wanting to make sure..

Re: quick question..Camaro trim levels..an RS had an apperance package to be called RS?
From the 4th Gen FAQ:
RS - appearance package available starting in 1996 for the base Camaro (V6) only. It includes ground effects and an up-level spoiler. "RS" badges are located on the front fenders and rear passenger bumper. In 1998 the RS was dropped, however the appearance package was still available as an option.

so nothing past 98 was an actual RS BUT to get the package still it was ordered as an RS..??
and the base Camaro had no package did it..all the way to 02. you had to order it to make it a RS?
