Questions about my 2000 SS

I recently bought a 2000 SS, 6 speed. I am wondering how to find out what came stock in it. It has headers, SLP air intake, daul chrome exhaust tips are these stock?

If so, that is definantly not stock.

Kris - there may be some confusion about what the stock SS exhaust looks like - it's not like the Z28 manifolds..........it looks more like headers.

Re: Questions about my 2000 SS

Thanks for the input, this is my 4th Camaro and is very different from my others. I bought it used with 50k not sure what might be modified. Looking to find out what might have been done. Not sure what came stock or what was added. What kind of perfomance should I expect?

SLP never put different exhaust manifolds on the LS1 cars. the only ones that came with different ones were some of the first LT1 cars they did...which were extrude honed stock manifolds.

now the manifolds on the LS1, particularly the later years were very similar to tubular shortie headers.

the lid and exhaust could be SLP stuff...hard to say.

you've probably got about 315-320hp at the wheels if it truely has headers, lid and catback.
