I think the LS1 headers and Y use the slip fit design whereas the LT1's don't, they use the flange design. Also, if you look at the LS1 headers and Y compared to the LT1's, the LS1's "kick out" more to the outside of the car on the driver's side. Would it fit? Maybe with some fab work but you would still have to use a flange adapter.

Not great pics of the Y pipe, but you get the idea. The 3 pieces it comes in are slip-fit, and the flanges you weld on yourself (the pipe is flared for them at the ends)
You can see the clearance in one of the pics above

Re: question on Hooker Y-pipe (LS1, LT1)
I have the Random Technology Dual Cat Y-Pipe
Couldn't be happier, a nice easy bolt-on
I went with the Aluminized version due to the fact that the car rarely ever sees wet roads or salt, as It's my weekend car
I got mine from LS1 Speed (1/2 way down). The Stainless version is also available though most vendors if you like.
Sounds very nice mated to a Loudmouth with a Bullet Muffler

Hey Spinner,
Have you had any experience with the mufflex Y compared to the Hooker Y? I have a Mufflex right now and it drags on my garage floor as I pull in (car is lowered about 1.5") and I think that I am going to get a Hooker to replace it with since it looks like it gives a little more ground clearance.
