Hi i have some comp cams 1132-16 1.6 ratio 7/16 stud rockers arms that i got for a good deal. I looked them up on summit and they are back ordered. They say they are for a AMC or a ford engine. I Called comp cams and he said that they would work on my Lt1 but would have the wrong geometry. I asked if it would cause any damage and he just said that it would be considered misuse. Any input im thinking i could sell them and buy the right ones for my car they are brand new Never used plastic is still on the one set of 8 in the box and partially on the other set of 8. How much do you think they are worth to sell or is it ok to just run them on my engine? Thanks

 

Hmm...when the manufacturer tells you that it would be a considered "misuse"...I would pass on them. Just try to sell them on some message board for Fords or AMCs.

Saving some money by not getting the right RRs just doesn't seem worth it...I would try to get the right parts for your car in your LT1.

You'll see them on this message board or EBay for sale once and while.
