Question question about dash lights

one of the bulbs in the A/C-heater controls on my 95 Formula is out. I got the thing apart, but have no idea as to how to replace the bulb. it is a real tiny bulb and is not coming out of the socket. If anyone has dealt with these before, I appreciate any advice.

Re: question about dash lights

The bulb just pulls out. Its like a mini version of the 194 bulbs that are in your cluster and tag light and such. They don't twist or anything they just pull straight out. Usually they break and you have to use plyers or something to pull them out. The small bulb is a #74 bulb, they are also used in door panels to light up your window/lock switch area.

Re: question about dash lights

What if you put a new bulb in and it still won't work? I checked the fuse and it seems fine. Probably wiring right? But where do I get new wiring?

Bust out your test light and see if you are getting juice to the bulb socket.
