Hi, I just bought a 2000 Camaro SS and I noticed that above the radio the emblem says just, CAMARO. I have seen pictures of other 2000 SS cars' interiors and noticed that some say Camaro SS. Does anyone know what the difference is??? I looked at my RPO Codes and my car does have WU8, so I know it really is an SS......... Any help is appreciated.

I think that the plaque was an option.

 

you can get an aftermarket plaque for cheap. i'd get one if it were my car... I like the SS emblem.

 

SLP sells them, or used to.
OR there was a guy on ebay selling them to idiots who were willing to pay more for the emblem w/out shipping than they have paid for it from SLP w/shipping.
