Okay, I have a '94 Firebird automatic and recently spilled coffee all over the place . Anyway, I took the selector console apart and now the gears do not light up properly when the lights are on. Does anyone have any pictures or descriptions anywhere on how to put that thing back together? It looks like a light lights up the plastic piece, which travels the length of the film with the gear labels. The light always works, but just does not always shine through properly for some reason. Sometimes it does; sometimes it doesn't. Any help?

 

the light is probably loose or not in the hole all the way, just pop that peice off agian and reinsert the light, and turn it till it clicks in. Im sure there is a pic on shoeboxs website

 

I'm gonna put it back together this weekend, so I'll let you know if it works or not. Thanks PatriotRed.
