Power window seems to be binding up

When raising the right side power window on my Camaro, it will stop in random places like something is binding. I have done the thermal breaker bypass and I have done the relay mod so power is not the problem.

I recently lubed the tracks and inspected things and everything looks good. Seems to come and go.

If you lift the window by hand while raising it, I can not feel any binding. Really pissing me off.

Could this be the motor going bad?

That's what happened when my motor went bad.

This motor was been replaced by the dealer back in the warranty days. I have the access holes already drilled in order to remove it which is a piece of cake. Guess i will go ahead and get a new one.

Mine used to rattle like crazy and get stuck sometimes, turned out most of the teeth were rounded off on the regulator. If you change out the motor and it doesn't fix it you could always take it back (I did that once ).

Mine did the same thing when the motor was going out, if you already have those holes drilled then it's pretty easy, I used a piece of 2x4 wood to brace the window up while I removed and replaced the motor.
