hey there...this is for anyone who has replaced their power window motors...they have some on ebay for like $14..and then others all the way up to $40. does anyone have the $14 ones?? or should i spend a little more on the more expensive ones....

car doesnt get out that much....but i still dont wanna have to replace the window motor in the next year or two.

any info would be great!

I just ordered a motor from a company called 1a auto that sells both motors on their site and on ebay. According to them, their 39.95 one is an oe quality part and the 14.95 one is offered for those who need a temporary quick fix. They are the same price on their site and on ebay.

 

the cheap ones will be really loud. If you can live with that then they might last as long as a nicer one.

 

I bought on e from A1 Auto, three years ago for 40 dollars, still going .... No probs. yet...

 

Both of mine went bad, so I bought a $40 one for the driver side and $14 one for the passenger side, the passenger side barely got used and quit after about 8 months, the drivers side ($40 one) is still going and I use it all the time.

Do yourself a favor, go buy the PW motor from Advance Discount Auto, there about $50 and change but they have a lifetime warranty. I just replaced my drivers side two weeks ago.
