Power Window electrical problem..need help please.

Hey, i got a 96 camaro, power everything. unfortunately as of late there seems to be a problem with my power windows - my passenger side window doesnt want to cooperate when i try to 'roll' it up. usually, it only goes up half way and stops, even if i keep my finger on it to go up. Strange thing is after about 60 seconds of waiting I can roll it up another couple inchs, then it stops again. I have to sit there and repeat this process till Its all the way up. Very annoying.

Does anyone know why this is happening or how I can fix it? Further, I know the proper way to prop/open the panel to see what's powering it underneath. Im not a very educated guy on electrical comps. of cars, and i dont know where the window gets its power from (im guessing the main battery under the hood).

Anyway, please let me know how i can fix this really pesky problem.

thanks,
tony

Welcome to the board - and one of the most common F-body complaints. Sounds like your window motor has seen better days - http://shbox.com/page/windowmotor.html

This is the easiest/cheapest method out there. I have gotten emails from people that have never seen the inside of a door panel and they could do it. Maybe a few hours for a newbie and $75 or less depending on where you get a motor.
