OK, I know nothing about the difference between these pumps so here is what I'm looking to do. My nephew is doing an LT1 swap into an 87 IROC. Can the power steering pump be used from the LT1 for the 87? I know the systems are different, but I don't know what difference there would be for the pumps. We're hoping to use the LT1 accessories in the 87. Any help is appreciated.
