Power Steering Pump

Ok, my power steering pump is leaking and dripping onto the belt, glazing it and making it squeal like a mother. So I bought a new shaft seal for the pump, but how do I get the shaft out to replace the seal? On a 3.4, btw.

Buy a new pump heh. Save the trouble and just replace the whole unit.

Re: Power Steering Pump

I'm ditching the 6 cyl in a few months when I get my LT1 put back together, so I am trying to keep the money I dump into the 6 to a minimum.

They are only like $50. Not a big deal. May as well make the 6 run good so you got a spare and don't gotta worry about stupid little things.
