power steering flow direction?
power steering flow direction?
I'm planning on putting a inline filter for my power steering.
which which way does the fluid flow? I think its a stupid question but I want to make sure, the filter is directional.
does it go from the rack to the tank then to the pump (through the fat hose)? I want to be sure, I got suspicious when another post suggests it flows from pump to the tank then to the rack, which just doesn't sound right it is after all low pressure lines at this section.

This might help...

Fluid goes from reservoir -> pump -> rack -> (insert inline filter here) -> reservoir. I dont think a filter is all that necessary. If the fluid is brown, black, or burnt, flush out the system.
