Power Door Locks and Power Trunk Won't Work
Power Door Locks and Power Trunk Won't Work
This afternoon I went to get in my car and the power door locks and the power trunk button (in the glove compartment) wouldn't work. I could hear the viper alarm "trying" to get them to work, but they wouldn't.
My first thing to try I guess would be the fuse, which one is it?
Also, later in the day all was working well again
. I will replace the fuse as cheap insurance early on, but I believe that where the viper alarm is hooked into the pdl and pwr trunk, the wires may be getting crimped or something.

Re: Power Door Locks and Power Trunk Won't Work
could be the wires, or it could be the module that controls all those functions. its up under the dash. on my 97, its on the passenger side behind the kick panel. it would be a last resort though, since from the dealer its expensive, and its usually to much bs to go through getting one from a junk yard due to the vats theft system and the chip in your key. unless vats is disabled in your car.
