power distribution block

What's up, guys. I got an 80, and I want to do some electrical mods like higher amp alt and whatnot. I want to add a power distribution block like one that is found in 93+ F-bodies. Here is a pic of another 80 with it mounted on the firewall (red).

The old GM part number I have for it is 12129281. I tried calling a GM parts distributor, and that number comes up invalid. He can look it up for me by application, but I don't know where exactly it is mounted under the 4th gen F-body hood (that's how he can pinpoint it). By checking a few things he came up with a "forward headlamp power source", but I'm not sure if that is it. If anyone can tell me where it is located under the hood, or if you have a valid GM part number, it would be greatly appreciated.

thanks
