Blah Blah buddy has a 01 wrx, turbo back exhaust no cats, boost controller set @ 16 psi, intake, struts and springs, 19" wheels and tires. Obviously from a stop i would get walked pretty good for a bit, but from a 40 mph roll which car takes it??? mods are in sig.

 

I think you are gonna dominate him, even w/o a converter, I think you'd dominate him from a stop, either way roll, dig, I think you are gonna dominate, as long as you don't roast the tires off the whole race.

 

You have a SUPERCHARGED LT1 and this guy in a lightly modded 01 WRX (with 19" wheels ) thinks he even has a remote chance against you? He's insane...

Seriously, that guy is lucky to be pushing 13's with those 19" wheels. Look forward to the video anyways though

He would get walked from a stop. Up until your wheels stop spinning, unless you had slicks you'd have a chance, but after the wheels hookup your gone.

 

wrx's arent that fast to begin with, with a turbo-back and intake youre looking at aboot 220 to the wheels, 16psi isnt alot at all, in fact lower then stock Sti settings,...anyway youll beat his a** unless you put your car in park...get some traction and watch him become a little dot in ur mirror, my friends got an 06' STi with turbobackno cats front mount intercooler, 25lbs of boost, intake and a aftermarket turbo and he cant keep up with me... theyre definitely fast, but youvs.wrx is a joke HAVE FUN DRIVE SAFE!!

 

WRx's... I ran a Turboed one down when I was stock just about, and this was at the track. He got me about 1 car off launch, but as soon as my car caught traction I realed him in and never let go. I was surprised at the top end off the car... seemed he didn't really dissapear till I got in 4th around 4K or so that's when he dropped back about 3 cars. All I had at the time was SLP intake, Borla Exhaust, Air Foil, and a Hyperjunk Tune I beleive was placed on the car.

Now this was no STI, but it still was a built WRX. This was at a S****y drag strip too I think everyone runs like 1.0 + the actual time of thier car at a less S*****y drag strip.

BTW the Turbo on those things is as tiny as ant S**t. Unless he upgraded he aint no threat, unless you granny shift and don't double clutch like you should.

 

I bet on that one also. But hands down the F-body has this race.

 

That's the dyno chart from a 2005 WRX with an extremely similar mod list (belongs to a friend of mine). I've driven it, and it has nothing on my mostly-stock LS1. I can't imagine that your supercharged and intercooled LT1 will have any trouble.

Get traction and leave him in your dust.

 

if its 99-1 on the sti ill put 5 bucks in nah, unless you cant drive, the 3.73's and s/c will put you in a easy victory
