possible lifter problem...

this is an LS1 specific problem so i posted it there...

but i'm hoping maybe someone with experience with other engine designes may have some insight

i think the problem is lifter related, since it occurs only after reving up and coming back to idle...and then goes away (or seems to) if you pick up the rpms a bit.

any help would be appreciated

what is it doing? Is it ticking alot? You don't really say what it is doing, just when it does it.
