With pontiac going out of business does that make the trans am a more popular and desirable car? Just curious if any, if the trans am will go up in value and if it does how long will that take?

Who knows

There are way too many variables to even speculate if and when the pontiac will go up in value. Only time will tell.

Ask again in 30-40 years. Right now it might be worth less, as people may think that they can no longer get parts. Really, right now, it shouldn't make any difference.

Is it true that it will be more difficult to find parts?

So long as GM is in business I don't think that will be an issue right now. 3rd and 4th gens were Chevy/Pontiac twins, so GM still has to make parts for their Chevys.

If anything you might just run into a hassle actually ordering a part ("You have to go to a Pontiac dealer for that")
