Poly mount = harsh vibrations?

Not sure why you haven't experienced it (perhaps a spectacularly smooth-running engine? ), but it makes sense that factory rubber mounts on the engine and a poly mount at the trans could introduce a lot of extra vibration. The rubber engine mounts allow the engine to move, but that motion is transmitted through the transmission and into the body of the car by the poly trans mount.
