I have a 2000 SS Conv 6 Spd and I installed thhe SLP quad exhaust, a couple weeks later i noticed soot build up on the riight side, every couple of days I have to clean the soot only from the right side, then I realized it was only the right side because NOTHING is coming out of the left pipe, even if I stuff rags in right pipe almost nothing comes out of the left side, any thoughts on what happened and how to fix, short of a new muffler?

 

well im not sure but maybe you can get it cleaned... or you can buy a cut out and just bypass the muffler... just a temporary solution

Unbolt it and see if it is truely the muffler or if it's the piping. If it's the muffler, I'd just leave it off for the time being. If you still have cats, it shouldn't be deafening loud like that.

Did you install it correctly, with the in & outs. They only work one way.
