Exclamation please help me out

I want to peice out my 98 camaro Z because i found out the firewall was damaged , it has a LS1 with 78000 miles on it, with a new alternater and water pump. it has t-tops, tan leather, crome rims, and body kit. im not sure how much to ask for the engine or tranny ect. could you please help me out, i will sell it as a whole if the price is right.

take a look at ebay and see what they are going for on there. id say 2000-3000 for both the engine and tranny if its stock. thats fair market for my area, but some on here will say its cheap, others will say way too high. call around and see what your local salvage yards get.

Yea...there are a lot of factors that will go into determining its value, but aim high - see how many offers you get -- if below sale price, see what the best offers are, etc..

If you post what you have in the FS forum and all the local regional forums in this and other F-body sites I think you'll do fine. Personally I wouldn't take anything less than $2,000 for the engine and PCM by itself.
