Am I suppose to have automatic headlights?

Am I suppose to have automatic headlights?
This is for a 99 Trans Am. I thought that all the OBDII's had headlights that come on automatically when its dark. I know that my camaro is OBDII and it has auto lights.

My 94 Trans Am had automatic headlights.
They were a little to sensitive for me (would turn on in the shade, then off when you get to a sunny patch, then back on when your back in the shade..) So I bypassed the sensor.

Only 97 Camaro's have Automatic headlights... It was very shortlived (and somewhat annoying too)... I'm not sure about the Firebird family however...
