Please help me with fuel line problem
Please help me with fuel line problem
Sorry, I posted that in fuel/ignition section section with no replies... I never dealt with fuel lines, so I appreciate any help!
I have no idea how that happened but a piece of my plastic fuel line which goes from pump to fuel filter got cracked and gushing gas everywhere
I found a part# on Rob's site (10258441) but it looks like this for front, underhood portion, so it probably wont work. Nothing on ebay...
Also one question - can I replace it without dropping tank?
Can I reliably repair this line?

Re: Please help me with fuel line problem
go to dealer ship and tell them what you need and they can order oem replacement
not sure where the brake is ? if its just in the fuel line go to a auto parts store and buy
the amount of oversized fuel line that you need 2 hose clamps. until you get the replacement
Above is just a temporary fix and is ( NOT SAFE )the fuel line should NOT be made of plastic

Re: Please help me with fuel line problem
Thank you! Tried this today. Unfortunately old fuel line looks so "dry out" so no matter how long I tried to soak it in hot water - coudnt put it all the way to adaptor... With age it became also not that flexible so I will be replacing that line I guess...
Re: Please help me with fuel line problem
had this problem with the underhood and pump to filter line on my 97 v-6. Hose man used my original connectors and 350psi line with hydraulic crimps and made me new lines. Worked perfect!
