Please help with exhaust setup

I have a 99 z28 with an offroad y-pipe and borla exhaust. I need to convert it back to street due to emissions tests.

My questions are can anyone suggest a place where they sell a high flow y-pipe with cats for good price?
Also what will I need as far as replacing 02 sensors?

Here's my thoughts right now ( feel free to throw in suggestions ) I want to buy a high flow catalytic converter to replace the offroad y-pipe and also get an exhaust cutout so I can still run illegal when not facing emissions tests throughout the year.

Thanx

If you don't have headers I would just go with a stock Y pipe, the stock cats flow pretty well.

Depends on what you call good price. You can get a Random Tech y pipe with cats for around 570. You can buy some high flow cats for about 135ea and have them welded in your off road y-pipe. That wouldn't pass a visual in some places because the cats are not in the factory location, but it would allow you to move them back so you could put cutouts in front of them if you wanted. BTW having an open cutout after the cats will not violate any emissions laws

It's pretty common for the car to pass emissions if it can pass the sniffer and not the visual. Happened to me recently in fact, and no I didn't pay extra.

why don't you just put the stock y-pipe on and go in then take it off once you pass. Also I'm not sure were you live but here in illinois you only have to pass a scan to make sure you're not throwing any emissions related ses codes for obd2(96+) f-bodys, there's no sniffer test.

sell you my stock Ypipe for cheap...has about 51k miles

all you should need is the rear o2 sensors, unless you happen to still have those from the original setup.

or i can sell them along with the ypipe...where you located?

THAT DOESN'T SOUND LIKE TOO BAD OF AN IDEA.. ONE QUESTION THOUGH.. MY OFFROAD Y PIPE IS WELDED ON ..
WOULD PUTTING THE STOCK ONE YOU COULD SELL ME WORK WITH AN EXHAUST CUTOUT?
