Please help with belt squeak!

My car keeps developing a belt squeak. It usually happens when there isd moisture in the air (rain, humid, dirve through car wash etc..) The squeak goes away after the car has warmed up. I am on my third set of belts, i have narrowed it down to the A/C belt. The pulleys look and spin alright and the tension seems to be correct.
Does anyone have any ideas on could be causing this noise?
Thanks

Its gotta be one of the pulleys, your car only has 1 belt. Put a screwdriver to a pulley and to your ear and listen to which is making the noise.

LS1 has a seperate belt for the A/C condenser. Try cleaning the belt grooves on the pulleys with an old toothbrush or something. What kind of belts have you tried? Some are better than others.

Closely inspect the belt edges-it may be that a pulley is out of line and running the belt on the edge instead of the center.

Check your tensioner. They do not always get loose when they go bad. Somtimes they get stuck and holds too stiff against the belt. But I am not sure if for the a/c compressor it has a separate tensioner.

Question about the ac belt. Is it always going around even when the AC is off?

Yes... that's why the AC compressor has a freewheeling outer pulley, and a clutch.

Mine was the AC pulley. I put up with it for years, just recently took my AC out.
