People dumping before the axel.

Hi all, when I go true duals, I'll probably dump before the rear axel as it's quite a bit cheaper that way. Don't have to pay for all the fancy bends and stuff.

However, the TA bumper has the little cutouts for exhaust pipes. I'd figure my car would look pretty nasty without at least tips in the rear.

Do you guys just hang your tips? Is it easy to hang em, or do you have to fab something up?

Thanks.

I don't know the answer for you... but to throw something out there that is different...

Could you put a Camaro rear bumper on? I can't remember off hand but what does a v6 bumper look like, since v6 had one turn down pipe, might not have had the dual outlets only on the W68 appearance package for v6s.

Hrm. Seems kind of strange to hang totally non functional pipes...although I see where you're coming from looks wise.

Have you thought about doing some fiberglass work to the rear bumper to smooth over the cutouts for the exhaust?

Put a Formula bumper on it... nobody will notice there is anything missing

Now why anybody want to put an ugly Formy bumper on their beautful car?

That's one of the nice things about having a Camaro. No cut outs to deal with.

The formy bumper sounds like a good idea, but if I were to spend the money on one, I might as well just spend the money to go over the axels. Fiberglassing the cutouts could work.

Any other opinions?
