I bought an entire 96 lt-1 engine/trans, accessories and pcm from 96 corvette. They were unable to give me mileage as interior was damaged in wreck, can the computer be read to determine actual mileage? (or any other info?)

 

I'm not sure.. but i'm curious as to how much you paid! My cousin's looking for a cheap alternative to buying a turnkey gm motor.

 

Paid $1850 plus shipping, looks really clean - just would like to know actual mileage? Anyone?

 

I don't think that the mileage is stored in the PCM. Many people (like myself) have swapped PCMs - and the mileage display is unaffected by the change.
