Which path should I take?
Re: Which path should I take?
Thanks for all those support arguements
Yeah if I get anything for the car other than intake, exhaust, and certain cosmetic stuff, it would be suspension stuff. I'll also keep that traction stuff in mind.
Oh, and, I know it's more than a slight bump in power. I've driven two Camaro's in my time...the 3.4L you see mentioned in my sig, and my other friend's 2002 SS 6-spd

Well I actually did what you are preposing to do and I couldn't be happier. I bought a 96 V6 Camaro (3.8 liter) when I graduated high school and drove it for about 4 years. I got used to how the F-body handled and I learned how to "play with it" when traction was compromised. Nothing like an F-body in the rain, quite entertaining. Now I have my 98 T/A and the smile on my face is even bigger knowing that I am ready for the car and won't wreck it.
My advice is get the f-body to familiarize yourself withe the handeling traits of the car but at all costs STAY AWAY from the 3.4 liter. My buddy had a 94 3.4 liter car with: Cold Air Intake, Cat back exhaust, headers (leaked), and a tuning chip....With my 3.8 liter camaro I smoked him BAD bone stock.....the 3.4 is just a dog plain and simple.
