Passenger side Leaking in water..BAD.

My rear passenger side seat(where you put your feet at, the lil bucket we have in the back) always seems to fill up in INCHES of water when theres a good downpour. My Driver side TTop leaks up in the front a little(where it drops onto my lap)..but the passenger side hardly drips at all. Im guessing it might be leaking in the back part of the TTop(which ive never seen it do before)...just wanted to ask if anyone else has had that happen?
Thanks for any help

check the grommet behind your PCM, it goes right into the compartment by your feet on the passenger side. Water can get in there an pool up to a point where it goes into the hole an goes inside at a pretty good flow rate so it can get pretty messy, the hole is about 1.25 inches if memory serves me correct so make sure your grommet is still in there

So this is up under where the passenger sits in the front seat? I find this from inside or from under the hood behind the PCM?
Just wanna make sure im clear which grommet this is..im gonna go look now to see if i can find anything.

Also, is this under any carpet or easy to see?

pop the hood, unbolt the 2 bolts that hold the PCM in place and either move it out of the way or disconnect it, you will see a hole or a grommet plugging up the hole if theres no grommet, the water is probably dripping off your cowl down the hood into the engine bay and into your passenger side floorboard.

in the mean time, while your looking for the cause you can pull out a drain plug right at that area so it doesnt puddle up.

I had the same thing happen, the floor filled up with water, and the t-tops weren't leaking or anything, it turned out to be like others said the grommet in the firewall. After replacing the grommet, it smelled kinda moldy under the carpet, so I gutted my entire interior, spread the carpet out on the driveway, and removed every even slightly damp piece of carpet pad. I bought some new pad at home depot, and cut out matching pieces, used some 3M Super 77 to glue them on, then got some carpet spot remover (something by Zep, I forget the name), and scrubbed the hell outta the whole carpet, got rid of the couple little rust stains the whole incident caused me. I put everything back in and it's been fine ever since...I haven't had any smells come back, and it cost me maybe 30 bucks to fix including pad, grommet, and carpet cleaner, compared with a couple hundred for a whole new carpet.
