passenger side auto down window?

it's a pain in the *** right now cuz my passenger side is a lot slower than the driver side so i have to sit there and hold it forever to go down...i plan to replace the motor but i was wondering if there was any semi easy way to make the passenger side auto down...anyone ever tried this?

Re: passenger side auto down window?

so by installing the control module on the passenger side it will be auto down from the drivers side and passenger side buttons correct? it doesnt seem very difficult and definately seems worth it for people that always put both windows all the way down...may not be quite as cool once i replace the window motors but still cool...thanks for the link shoebox!

I was actually going to do this as well but did not get around to it It should be able to be adapted for auto up as well but at the cost of these modules, it would get expensive. It might be cheaper to buy a window module for an alarm system that would accomplish this... both windows in both directions

Re: passenger side auto down window?

Ok so I ended up finding AutoLoc's auto window modules which handle auto up and down on ebay real cheap and installed them in my car after disabling the factory express down module, that works awesome!

But then I took my old module and put it on the passenger window on my friend's 95 bird and it didn't work. The window went up and down like normal but there wasnt any auto down, if I listened to the module it was clicking the relay when I was holding the button but as soon as I would let go the window would stop and the relay would open again. I double checked and triple checked my wiring and it was all the way it was supposed to be?? Ideas? Thanks
