Not sure if this is the correct forum. At what point would parting out a 93-97 firebird be more profitable than selling it as is? Any ideas on how much i could make off of parting out an old 95 firebird? What are the big ticket items on the car? Thanks.

 

There are a lot of variables, but if the 95 firebird is in average shape, then I'd guess it has a blue book value of around $2k... (I'm assuming v6 since you didn't say transam or formula)

You could probably get more $$$ parting it out, but the question in my mind, is how much effort is it worth...

There are lots of parts that might be of value to others, but on many of the large parts, shipping will be difficult and expensive... Then you have to do something with the parts that you don't sell...

With what parts sell for in the for sale section or on ebay, I'd bet that you could get a good return parting your car out... It'll just be a lot of work... I doubt it would be worth it to me...

 

How exactly do i get rid of a parted out vehicle? Im guessing i could get at least $900 out of a 95 v6 firebird in average condition?
