Pacesetter customer service.

Has anyone ever tried emailing these guys. I sent them a couple emails on Friday and here it is Tuesday. Im going to give them until Wednesday before i call them. WTF kind of customer service is this. The reason im trying to contact them is becuase i think on the passenger side header, the flange that bolts up to the head is bent slightly. I had to double up on the paper gaskets that they sent with the headers to get a decent seal but i think its still leaking. Is this a possibility or is there something wrong on my part.

Re: Pacesetter customer service.

I e-mailed them twice once about a an actualy question about one of the sets of headers and another time asking about another product, wether they sold it or know of a place that did. The e-mailed me back with 48 hours of each other with a good answer.

Those gaskets aren't the best to begin with. I pitched them in the garbage first thing and ordered a set of Fel-Pros for twenty bucks. Hopefully Pacesetter comes through for you though.

Re: Pacesetter customer service.

Yeah i had originally bought some Mr Gasket Copper header gaskets but they didnt work because the header was bent so yeah they leaked pretty badly.

Re: Pacesetter customer service.

i know its a little late now, but whenever you're installing aftermarket parts that are as much as a PITA as installing headers on an LT1 are, check all the fitmets BEFORE installing them. If you would have held a straight edge to them when you got them, you could have swapped them out with a new set and only had to install them once.

I have heard decent things about their customer service though, maybe it's just a busy time of the year for them or something. I'd give them a call.

Re: Pacesetter customer service.

Their customer service sucks. And just a quick note about the warranty on their products. READ THE FINE PRINT. They have a pro-rated warranty which covers a percentage of the cost of replacement within a certain time period. The kicker is it is a percentage of the MSRP so my warranty replacement headers cost 50% of the MSRP which was something like $620 which mad my total $310 for the set.

NICE

And they will definetly throw an attitude at you when you are trying to advise them of an issue with their products.

End Rant...

Re: Pacesetter customer service.

I know Jet-Hot has great customer service. When I ordered my headers they sent me the wrong ones. Then two days later fed ex was at my door to pick up the wrong ones and a week later I got the right ones.
