Post One Headlight Problem

I tried reading the old posts, but found nothing. Anyone have any idea how to fix the one headlight problem on a '94 Firebird? Is there a how-to anywhere? I don't hear a grinding noise or anything like that. Simply one headlight just doesn't pop up. Thanks for any help

Re: One Headlight Problem

That's what I would have thought, but the posts and webpages I've seen said it makes a grinding sound if that's the case. Or am I wrong? My headlight doesn't make that sound.

There's a difference between the motor going bad and the plastic gear getting stripped. Sounds like your motor may have gone up if you are not getting the stripped gear noise...I think they are around $180 from a dealer...

Thumbs up Re: One Headlight Problem

Ok, thanks for the reply. Not looking forward to shelling out $200 for a headlight though .

Check to see if your fuses and relays are good.
