I just bought a '79 grand prix and was wondering if anyone had any forums for discussion of that.

I second that motion!!!

I've been building G-bobies since about 1986, and back then there were no repo parts at all!!! Their popularity now has made the aftermarket wake up a little, but still there's not enough stuff like interior repo for say a 1979 Malibu or an '83 Grand Prix...

But my Rust Free '78 Malibu is now sitting safely, awaiting resurrection, in my Grandma's Garage in central Illinois... Hopefully when my son is old enough, say 13-14ish he'll want to restore it with me and I'll give it to him when he's old enough. Coming from the rust belt, it's nearly impossible to find them rust-free. Mine has a rust-free body but my rear frame rails are rotten...

Here's another page I found on google that has some promise.

Good Luck,
Paul
