Ok, who knows a thing or two about 4th gen steering wheels

Well I'm on my fix-all-the-little-things trip and here's the next thing:

My steering wheel squeaks. If you're sitting in the seat and move the wheel left and right slightly, it squeaks. I know it's coming from the wheel itself. I tried spraying WD40 all up in that piece, but didn't work.

So my question is what inside the wheel would I need to lube, and how do I get to it?

The wheel itself press fits on the end of the steering shaft. It has no moving parts. I would suggest removing the airbag to see if you can pinpoint the squeek and eliminate it.

to do this you should first disconnect the negative batery cable

use an allen wrench to remove the 4 screws from the back of the steering wheel into the airbag.

remove the airbag and unplug it. do not touch the connector because static could discharge it.

try and pinpoint the squeak, and maybe get some JB weld in it to silence it?

good luck.

That sounds like what I needed to know. Now just to find the time...
